One of the problems when renting a car for your vacation is that the car is not just the transport more friendly to the environment. Although, there are more ecological ways to travel, cars are not noted for their low environmental impact. This was until today.

In recent years, manufacturers have focused their attention on creating new models of cars to reduce carbon emissions and other environmental impacts, with the aim both to help the environment and reducing the fault of the car owners for the use of these vehicles almost indispensable.

So, when this situation occurs how do you decide which car to go for, the following list will help you out with this.

1) Firstly, you need to consider the manufacturer. Obviously some have better reputations than others. But in the case of Peugeot and Citroen who have similar sorts of reputations you need to look at other factors a bit more closely.
2) You should the look a bit more closely at the car's specification - what offers you more value for money. In some cases you may find that one car is better equipped with the latest technology, but the other may be available in a better choice of engines, this may suit your motoring needs more.
3) One point that shouldn't really define your decision is the location of your nearest car dealer...you should look more carefully at the specs...but hey, if they're that similar!
4) Another point which applies mainly to the Tigra and Puma is their social reputation. It probably hasn't escaped your attention is that many people often perceive the Vauxhall Tigra as a 'hairdresser's car', therefore most men will probably be put off choosing the funky Tigra over the Puma. Even though both cars are almost identical the Puma seems to be perceived as more of a mans car...for whatever reason.

So, when it comes to choosing between two almost identical cars you should take these points into consideration and then make your decision. Production of the Tigra has stopped this year and there are no immediate plans for a replacement, so you may have to stick to buying a used car - which means you need to pay more attention to the specs...to make sure you get the most from your money.

I saw both a Puma and a Tigra in Essex last week and was amazed by how similar they were...I haven't actually seen the C1 or the 107 on the road, only in images - if you haven't seen check it out, the similarity is unreal!
